Bill loses sleep over slide titles that are too long. He writes paragraphs to justify using Clients instead of Projects in website headers.
Initially, he wrote code in companies large (telecom) and small (Internet security), at which he was moderately good and mostly disinterested.
Logically, he turned to tending bar, then to technical writing for the manufacturing guys at Gillette in Southie. He helped them ace their ISO reviews and was mooned on his last day at work (no joke).
After several years wandering, catering, collecting ferry tickets, yard working, tutoring, and cooking (Prose restaurant), Bill committed to writing. He is very grateful to the folks at Grub Street.
Bill has written for Avid, Local Broadcast Sales, MA Convention Center Authority, and WatchGuard.
What does Bill know? It’s all relationships. To clients, co-workers, family, friends, food, words, music, community. It’s delicate and it requires every ounce of attention to get it right.
He also knows a little about playing music, sitting in silence for extended periods, and making wicked good dessert.
Bill is very uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person, but very happy to write for you in whatever person you choose. It’s your voice.
